Monarchs 14U-DeRita wrapped up its fall season today with 2 big wins. The offense came alive with 26 hits and scored 29 runs in a 15-8 win over Shoreline Breakers and a 14-7 win over CT Fury. Leading the offense was Maddy Giuliano who went 4 for 6 with a grand slam amassing 12 RBIs and Tessa Delucia went 4 for 4 on the day scoring 6 runs and 4 RBIs. Pitching was strong today with Gia Lane and Aubrey Caporale throwing 70% strikes and giving up only 1 walk. The team’s fall record was 9-10-1 with a 5th place finish out of 20 teams in the Smashing Pumpkins tournament at FPN. 14U-DeRita will take a break until the summer while the majority of the girls play in their first high school season and then will come back together in June! ...
